URUGUAYAN PORTS
USE BY BRITISH WARSHIPS WASHINGTON, (Rec. 8 p.m.) Feb. 5. It is announced in Montevideo that Uruguay has granted Britain nonbelligerent status under which British warships will not be subjected to the restrictive rules of international neutrality and may use Uruguayan ports without a time limit. The . United States was previously granted similar status.
