MISSING AIRMEN

FATHER’S SEARCH FOR SON (Special) . CHRISTCHURCH. Jan. 26. The air .and land search for Leading Aircraftman Donald Hugh McKenzie, bf Christchurch, and Leading Aircrafitman Jack Trevor Villers. of who were reported missing in a Royal New Zealand Air Force aeroplane oil Wednesday, was continued during the week-end. The father of Leading Aircraftman McKenzie, Mr J. R. McKenzie, of Christchurch, has been taking part in the search. Search parties have been operating from Blenheim, Seddon and Havlock in an endeavour to find signs of the machine, but no success had been reported. In the seailch, Mr McKenzie, who has been joined by his nephew, flew 500 miles in an aeroplane with the instructor who taught his son, and hills and valleys over a wide area were scanned for traces of the missing machine. Mr McKenzie expects to return to-morrow.
