CITY POLICE COURT

Tuesday, January 6 (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) Obscene Language Arising out of an incident which occurred in a piecart in the early hours of the morning. Maurice Leckie, a porter, aged 22. appeared on a charge of using obscene language.—lt was t-tatcd by the police that there were women present at the time, and that the accused was under the influence of liquor.—The accused was fined £3, in default seven days' imprisonment. Drunkenness James Thomas Ross, aged 21, was fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, on a charge of being found drunk in Maclaggan street on Monday.—Francis Llewellyn Neary was convicted and discharged on a similar charge.
