ENEMY ALIENS AND DISLOYALISTS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. In view of the gravity of the war situation and the imminent threat to this country, the Pahiatua branch of the Returned Services’ Association urges the Government to take immediate steps to intern alKenemy aliens or persons uttering subversive or disloyal statements or refusing to work wholeheartedly for the defence of the country, and also urges the Government to appoint local committees in each centre to advise the man-power committees and armsd forces appeal boards on the merits of each application, and to make service in the Home Guard or the E.P.S. compulsory for all males between the ages of 16 and 60.
