EXPLOSION IN ALASKA
DYNAMITE WAREHOUSE SEVERAL CASUALTIES (Rec. 8 p.m.) SEATTLE, Oct. 12. The Navy announced that a dynamite warehouse at the naval air station at Sitka (Alaska) exploded. A fire occurred at the Sitka base and the explosion was caused when the flames reached the warehouse. The blaze was uncontrolled for two hours, and 6 are dead and 13 missing.
