DUTCH PRINCESS
Second Birthday The second birthday of little Princess Irene of the Netherlands, younger daughter of H.R.H. the Crown Prince Juliana, was celebrated recently at Picton Lodge. Nova Scotia, where thi=> Dutch "oyal Family was staying for part of the summer. Princess Irene was born at The Hague, Holland, a month before the present war broke out. When the Germans over-ran Holland the little princess escp"-"i with her mother, her sister, and Queen Wil helmina. Shortly after arriving in England Princess Irene was christened in the private chapel of Buckinphan: Palace in the presence of their Majesties, King George VI and Queer. Elizabeth.
