DUNEDIN HOMING PIGEON CLUB

The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flew its second Parnassus Race on Saturday. The stationmaster liberated 130 birds, representing 18 lofts, in fine weather, but. they again had to faco a strong southerly at the home end. The winning birds new the distance of 265 miles in 6 hours 49 minutes. The following are the results in yards per minute: M. Anderson's Hill Pride, 1141.3, and G. Yardley's Blaze, 1141.3 (equal), 1; A. Goodman's. Sercnata, 1139.7. 3; C Watson's Calton Princess, 1136.8, 4; R. Fitzgerald's Air Raid, 1133.9, 5; J. Ramsay's Red Sunset, 1131.1, 6. The club will fly the first of two Wellington races, 400 miles airline, next Saturday.
