McGLASHAN COLLEGE

FETE WELL SUPPORTED The fete which was held by the John McGlashan College Association on Saturday to raise funds for school purposes was very well supported. It had been intended to hold a garden party in the school grounds, but the uncertainty of the weather conditions in the morning caused a decision to be made to hold it indoors and the. greater part of the main school buildings was utilised to house stalls, games and other attractions. The Kaikorai Band and the College Pipe Band provided musical items during the afternoon. A new honours list was displayed in the dining hall setting out the names of the 100-odd old boys and staff members who are on active service.
