FUNCTION AT SAWYERS’ BAY

An attractive programme was submitted to a Sawyers’ Bay audience In the public hall, when a concert party from Dunedin contributed the following items:—” Bonnie Prince Charlie,” " Pride of Tipperary." Mr Archie Jones; vocal solo. Mrs Hall-Mas-ters; vocal duet, Miss B. Rawltnson and Mr A. Robertson: “ Come Back to Erin,” “Annie Laurie.” Mr John MacFarlane; humorous recitation, Miss B. Rawltnson; " Hail Caledonia," “ Banks of Loch Lomond,” Mr Arthur Robertson; ” The King’s Highway,” ” Finnegan’s Ball,” Mr Jones: “ Mammy’s Little Baby Love,” Miss Rawllnson; " Come to the Fair,” “ The Keel Row,” Mesdames Hall-Masters and MacFarlane; quartet—Mesdames Hall-Mas-ters and MacFarlane, and Messrs Jones and Robertson. • Mr A. Robertson was the community sing leader.
