OPENING OF INQUEST Sitting as coroner yesterday, Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., opened an inquest into the death of Alexander Master-ton Smith, a moulder, aged 58. who. late on Thursday afternoon, was found lying alongside his bed at his lodging in Cumberland street, with a wound in the forehead, and a rifle beside him.
