LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

Kaikorai Branch.—Mrs Dawson presided at the third annual meeting. Mrs Wilkinson brought the thought for the month,. “ Men measure a gift by its value to the receiver. God measures it by its value to the giver.” The election of office-bearers resulted:—President, Mrs . Bauld; honorary vicepresident, Mrs Dawson; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames Duncan and Masterton; secretary. Mrs Sonntag; assistant secretary, Mrs Swan; treasurer. Mrs Aitken; Assistant treasurer. Mrs Billings; magazine secretary, Mrs Edmiston;, committee—Mesdames McCrostie. Harvey, Wilkinson and Willis. After the business of the meeting a musical programme was presented, by Mesdames Chisholm and Ellis (vocal solos), Mesdames McCrostie and Dawson (duet). Mrs Bauld thanked the singers for the items.
