THE PRIME MINISTER ARRIVAL AT BALTIMORE WASHINGTON, Aug. 25. The New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr P. Fraser, arrived at Baltimore this afternoon. He is due at Washington late to-night and is scheduled to see Mr Cordell Hull at 11 a.m. to-morrow and Mr Roosevelt at noon. He will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. He will travel to New York on August 27, thence to Canada. ■ < Mr Fraser will probably leave the west coast for home early in September. DEPARTURE FROM IsRITAIN FAREWELL BY MR CHURCHILL (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 25. Mr Churchill bade farewell to Mr Fraser at Downing street. Warmly shaking hands, he said: “God bless you. God bless New Zealand.” RETURN TO DOMINION SECOND WEEK IN SEPTEMBER (0.C.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 26. “If the Prime Minister keeps to his plans he should be back in New Zealand in the second week in September,” said the Acting Prime Minister, Mr Nash, to-night when discussing the arrival in the United States of Mr Fraser. After leaving England on his transatlantic flight, Mr Fraser was delayed for more than a day in Ireland. By the time he returns to New Zealand Mr Fraser will have made one of the most varied round-the-world air voyages. Leaving New Zealand by air, he travelled to Australia and India. A deviation from the regular route was made between India and Egypt following the revolution in Iraq. After inspecting the New Zealand troops in Egypt Mr Fraser flew from Cairo to Khartoum and across the African continent to Lagos. It is not known what happened then but Mr Fraser flew back from the Gold Coast to Khartoum before flying to England. He has now crossed the Atlantic by air and when he returns to New Zealand he will have made the longest flight ever undertaken by a Prime Minister.
