“REMEDY FOR RICHES”
A lively romance concerning a small ■ town druggist, a nurse and g handsome stranger from a nearby city is l interwoven in the plot of the; new “Dr Christian ” picture, “Remedy for Riches,” which heads the programme _ commencing, a season at the Grand Theatre to-day. Fourth of the series of “Dr Christian” feature films, this picture.' starring Jean' Hersholt, does not maintain a serious pace throughout its story. A dozen outstanding laugh situations enable the film to be‘classed as comedy and to make it an essentially entertaining picture. Between his calls the doctor finds , time to become amused at the antics of the town’s prominent folk; and 1 to enter into comic situations that concern them. , " ■' ■ \ The supporting feature is the exciting Western, “Along the Rio Grande,” starring Tim Holt.
