MEETING OF ASSOCIATION At a meeting ,of the Management Committee of the Otago Men’s Hockey Association: thefd at the hi?bt. Mr E. D. Brown occupied the chair. It was decided to hold the first representative games against Southlandon June 28; senior, junior and schoolboys teams participating. . . / hp The association has. been granted the use of three grounds at Tonga Park and one at the Oval. Two teams however were still being, fielded. On July 26 the Otago senior and junior teams are to travel to Timaru to play South Canterbury .• • ' vV'j Owing to circumstances, both the, senior and junior selectors have had to resign their positions, and Messrs E. Rennlck and D. E , White have been appointed senior and junior selectors respectively. Mr Brown, who had been compelled to resign his position as president and selector, was tendered the associations thanks for his work on the association. Mr E. Rennick was elected chairman for the remainder of the season, and Mr A. Betting was selected to replace Mr Brown as delegate to the Otago Provincial Council of Sport. The primary schools opened the season last Wednesday with a tournament to classify teams. It was stated that this year there was a further increase in the number of teams.
