BANK OF NEW ZEALAND
BOMB DAMAGE IN LONDON (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 9. The Bank of New Zealand has been advised that its London headquarters, which were recently damaged by bombs, would be reoccupied in about six weeks from the end of May. “The cheerfulness of the staff in adversity and the resolution to carry on the work of the bank in spite of the utmost difficulty are deserving of the highest praise.” the managers letter savs.
