GESTAPO PURGE
CZECH FACTORIES SEARCHED’ ALLEGED SABOTAGE LONDON, Feb. 10. (Received Feb. 11, at 11 p.m.) It is learned that the Gestapo carried out a great purge of the Bata shoe factories at Zlin and searched the works for many hours. The purge is believed to be due to sabotage and also to the German desire to take over more of the Czech industrial properties.
