DAILY INTERCESSION
O God, bless us with Thy favour, may Thy face smile on us, that so Thy purpose may be plain to men, Thy saving power to every nation ... bless us, O God, bless us, till men revere Thee to the world's far end (Psalm Ixvii, 1-2, 7). We pray that our leaders may be encouraged and guided to the end. Do Thou steady and support all on whom responsibility lies heavily; our King and Queen, the Ministers of the Crown, and the leaders of the forces, all ministers of Thy Church, and those who guide the thoughts of men. Amidst dangers and difficulties serve Thee and us with a quiet mind and the confidence that the issues are m Thy hands. When we are ready for true peace grant us rest from the storm of war and lead us. to build a■, world where security is based on justice, and where men dwell together in harmony because Thou dost'rule their ways.
