An International truck, owned by Mr Neil McKinnon, a carrier, of Mosgiel, caught Are on the Main South road at Caversham late yesterday .afternoon, slight damage being done before the blaze was extinguished by the brigade. Machines turned out at 9.34 p.m. in response to an automatic false alarm from Irvine and Stevenson’s factory in Filleul street.
