LESSENING AFTER-EFFECTS * _____ TREATMENT OF KNEE JOINT CLEVELAND Dec. 4. Dr David Spangler demonstrated to the Radiological Society X-ray technique which will possibly lessen the crippling after-effecfs of Infantile paralysis by retarding! the growth of the unaffected leg ;sufriciently to allow the crippled leg to catch up. The treatment general use of which has been suspended pending long-range studies, is confined to the knee joint. \
