The Legislative Council met at WO this afternoon, and considered the. bed Carriage of Goods Bill, the Agricultural Emergency Regulations Confirmation Bill and the Mokau Harbour Bill from the second reading stage. The three measures were put througn the remaining stages and passed. The Council adjourned at 3.55 p.m HOUSE OF~REPRESENTATIVES DEBATE ON FINANCE BILL
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. The second . reading of the Finance Bill (No. 4) was begun during the short open sitting of the House of Representatives to-day. It will be completed to-morrow. Minor business occupied the remainder tif the afternoon sitting, and at night the House went into secret session. The House rose at 0.50 a.m.
