AUSTRALIAN WARSHIPS
A SENATOR'S OPINION SHOULD BE BROUGHT HOME CANBERRA, Dec. 5. (Received Dec. 6, at 1 a.m.) Australian warships should be brought back to their home waters to convoy ships carrying Australian produce to Britain, said Senator Keane in the Senate. Eighty thousand tons of shipping had already been lost, and if that rate of destruction continued Australia's business of feeding people in England would stop.
