SINKING OF THE PATROCLUS HIT BY SEVERAL TORPEDOES (By Wireless) ■LONDON, Nov. 7. (Received Nov. 7, at 11 p.m.) Further details of the sinking of the armed British .merchantman Patroclus show that .the vessel was the victim of a concentrated U-boat attack while picking up survivors from the Laurentic. She was hit by torpedoes from a number of submarines, and sank in a few minutes. As the crew took to the boats they were shelled by the submarines. This was disclosed when 631 officers and men from the two ships landed at a Scottish port.. .
