“BOOTLEG” BAKERS
ARRESTS IN NAPLES BATTLE WITH POLICE NAPLES, Oct. 16. (Received Oct. 16, at 9.30 p.m.) “Boot-leg” bakers illicitly producing white bread fought a revolver battle with the police. One breadrunner was wounded. The police arrested 20 “boot-leggers” in an effort to stamp out the racket.
