The Coaching Sub-committee reported that arrangements had been made regarding coaching and that clubs had been circularised requesting them to forward the names of promising players. The United Club Sub-committee submitted a report regarding increasing the membership of the United Club, and it was resolved to circularise clubs pointing out the advantages of joining the United Club and requesting them to bring the matter to the notice of their club members.—The report was approved. Messrs J. J. Tregear. J. H. Meek, and L. T. Cleghorn wrote thanking the association for re-electing them vice-presi-dents and forwarding donations to the funds of the association.—lt was resolved to write thanking' these vicepresidents for their donations.

An application for the use of courts was received from members of the Police Force, and the matter was referred to the United Club Sub-commit-tee to make the necessary arrangements.

The president reported that an invitation had been extended to the men in the camps at Forbury and Wingatui to use the association's courts, and the clubs had also been requested to offer the use of their courts to the men in camp. This request had been readily met by the clubs. The St. Clair Club, which was handy lo the Forbury camp, had naturally received a large number of men from the Forbury camp, and this had necessitated the Competitions Committee re-arranging the courts for matches in order to relieve the St. Clair Club’s courts.
