YOUNG,'MAN’S BRAVERY AWARD OF SILVER MEDAL (Pee United, Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. The bravery of Albert"Fishburn. a young man living at Pelone. who, at the risk of-his life and under arduous conditions, rescued an elderly man from drowning of! the Petone foreshore on April 28 last, has been recognised by the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand. The society has awarded its silver medal to Mr Fishburn. and the presentation was made at Petone by the Mayor of Wellington (Mr T. C. A. Hislop). who is vice-president of the society. The silver medal is the society's second highest award.
