GOOD TEMPLARY

There was a good attendance at the meeting of the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, when Bro. W. G. lies, chief templar, presided. One candidate was initiated, and a member received on clearance card, and the superintendent of juvenile work submitted an encouraging report on the Juvenile Temple. The chief templar extended a welcome to Bro. Ted Brooks, on leave from Trentham camp. Bro. Brooks gave an interesting account of camp life, and also extended greetings from Centenary Lodge and Everfaithful Juvenile Temple, Petone. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple, No. 15, met on the same evening, when Bro. K. Elliott, chief templar, presided over a large attendance. Two candidates were initiated, and Bro. Ted Brooks was also present. A programme of a sacred and temperance nature was arranged by the chaplain, and sacred solos and duets and temperance recitations were presented by a number of members.
