RED SHIELD HOSTEL

THE DOMINION TROOPS INSPECTION BY QUEEN (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 8. A cablegram received by Lieutenantcommissioner Evan Smith says that the Queen visited the Salvation Army Red Shield hostel in London last Wednesday and met the New Zealand, Australian, and Canadian troops, with whom she spoke of their homes and their experiences. The Queen inspected the hostel and declared that it was even better than she had expected from the good reports she had received.
