CAVERSHAM SCHOOL COMMITTEE
Mr W. Inglls (chairman) presided over the monthly meeting of the Caversham School Committee. The headmaster (Mr W G Burn) reported the school roll stood at 606, including 129 transferred from the Macandrew Road School. Mr H.. R. Heazlewood was appointed representative on the Intermediate School Committee. The programme for winter sports has been curtailed owing to the transfer of Standards V and VI, which provided for three basketball and three Rugby football teams which had been entered for the primary schools competitions. Accounts for payment totalled £lB, and dental clinic fees £25.
