FIRE BRIGADE CALL
WOODEN DWELLING DAMAGED The City Fire Brigade received a call at 1.46 p.ni. yesterday to Richardson street, St. Kilda, where fire, caused by a defective copper chimney, had broken out in a five-roomed wooden dwelling. Slight damage was done to the bathroom and Die washhouse before the blaze could be extinguished. The house, which is owned by Mr W. Hutchison, is occupied by Mr I-f. A. Sapsford, and the contents are insured with Lloyd’s.
