OFFICERS ELECTED
NEW ZEALAND WORKERS’ UNION The returning officers for the New Zealand Workers’ Union have announced the results for elective positions for the 1940-41 period. The successful candidates for the main positions are as follows: —-National president, Mr R. Eddy (Wellington; reelected): national vice-president, Mr A. Wathey (Gisborne); general secretary. Mr A. Cook (Wellington; re-elected); delegates to conference —Messrs H. Caldwell (Inangahua), W. Coppersmith (Greymouth), F. J. Burnell (Blenheim) J. Wright (Upper Moutere), H. Cameron (Dunedin), A. A.
