McKEAGG. —In loving memory of darling Joyce, accidentally drowned at Woodhaugli Gardens, March 23. 1939, aged 12 years; also darling Norman, accidentally drowned at Woodhaugh Gardens in an heroic attempt to save Joyce. March 23, 1939. aged 9 years. When last we saw their smiling faces They looked so bright and well: And little did we think that It was our last farewell. To think we could not say good-bye Will always bring regret; But the ones who loved them dearly Are the ones who ne'er forget. Two beautiful stars shine over the grave Of the ones we loved but couldn't save; To have and love, and then to part, Was the greatest sorrow of our heart. Heaven retaineth now our treasures, Earth the lonely caskets keeps; And the sunbeams love to linger Where our loving children sleep.
