DOMINION TOURNAMENT OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP MRS WATKINS THE WINNER (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. . The final of the Open Championship at the Dominion Croquet Tournament was won to-day by Mrs Watkins (Hastings), who beat Mr. A. E. Ogier (Wanganui) in two straight games. Other finals resulted as follows: HANDICAP SINGLES Section 1 Miss Claughton beat Mrs Henderson. HANDICAP DOUBLES Mesdames Lowery and Toms beat Mesdames Bryan and Butcher. LEVEL SINGLES Section 1 Mrs Penn (Christchurch) beat Mrs Bagrie. Section 2 Mrs Knowles beat Mrs Middleton.
