SEALED HANDICAP Keen interest has been taken by the members of the Oamaru Chess Club in a Sealed Handicap tourney just completed. Each player contested 11 games, and after playing off the ties, the first four places have been filled as follows:—A Ombler, 8 'wins (3) 11 points. 1; Rev Lawson MaTch 0 (2) 11. 2: w. E. Bedford 7 (2). the closing night several old members have been invited to attend and take part in a match between teams chosen by the president and vice-president
