Members of the House of Repregentatjves and the Legislative Council favour by an overwhelming majority the continuance of the sale of liquor within the precincts of parliament Buildings, When the House assembled to-day the Speaker (Mr W....E Barnard) announced that a poll of the legislators had been taken on this question as required by statute. This had resulted.in a majority 0f,6.9 in favour of the sale of liquor.
