INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION
DOMINION-WIDE ACTIVITY CONFIDENCE IN THE FUTURE (Piat United Press Association; WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. Other gratifying reports had been received in respect to electrical manufactures, footwear and the clothing arid shirt-making trade. An indication that more land was being brought into cultivation was found in the Auckland district, where increased sales of implements for the breaking in of virgin soil were reported.
