SERVICE IN AUSTRALIA ONE A DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY LONDON, Aug. 2. A woman doctor of philosophy, speaking four languages, is bound fcr Sydney to take up domestic service. She-is a refugee, Sidonie Lenzer, aged 25. Twenty-four daughters of professional men from Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia left by the Esperance Bay on Saturday for Australia to fill positions in domestic service under the auspices of the Anglican Migration Council. Five will go to Perth and the remainder are bound for Sydney. Some Speak three languages. Miss Lenzer gained her doctors degree at Vienna University. The Bishop of Chichester gave a valedictory blessing at Australia House to the girl refugees, who are Christians. The cost of their migration is being borne by the Christian Council, out of money subscribed as the result of the broadcast appeal by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
