While she was away. another' of her children, aged three years and a-auarter. climbed uo and turned on the hot tan of the bath At the sound of the running water the mother rushed in. applied ointment to the child's skin, and rolled it in a blanket. The child reached HosDital about 4.15 suffering from shock and burns caused by boiling water but failed to respond. to treatment, and died.
