AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE
TEST FLIGHT OF PLANES THREE READY FOR DELIVERY MELBOURNE, July 11. After test flights the Royal Australian Air Force took delivery of three Wirraway machines, the first warplanes to be made in Australia. The Minister of Defence (Mr G. A. Street) said delivery of the full order given by the Commonwealth Government for 137 planes should be completed on schedule within a year.
