The communication does not deny that informal talks are in progress about credits to General Franco. It is evident that the Spanish Government wants money for reconstruction. Reports from the Continent suggest that not only French, but Belgian, Dutch, English, and Swiss banks are interested. M. Van Zeeland is reported to be conducting preliminary negotiations for an international loan of £20,000,000. THE VICTORY PARADE AMBASSADOR TO ATTEND LONDON, May 15. In the House of Commons, Mr R. A. Butler announced that the British Ambassador had accepted an invitation to attend General Francos victory parade. Liberal and Labour members expressed dissent in a heated manner.
