+, Golf The annual meeting of the Wait*huna Golf Club, held last week was presided over by the president (Mr H. Masters). The annual report and balance sheet were read and confirmed. Finances were in a healthy state, and it was decided to have the fences repaired and greens and fairways put in The following officers were elected for the year:—President, Mr O. Cunv ming; vice-presidents. Messrs R. and I Bateman; secretary and treasurer. Miss Rowe; committee—Mesdames Masters and Labes. Misses Kavanagh and Lynch, and Mr Masters. The meeting was concluded with vote_s of thanks to the, retiring president and to the secretary. Hockey 6n Saturday last the Waitahuna hockey team met the Lawrence team on the Waitahuna ground. The game was fast and interesting, and resulted in a win for Waitahuna by 1 goal to nil. Rugby Football The Tuapeka Mouth football t*am visited Waitahuna on Saturday and was successful, the score being 9 points U 6
