RUGBY FOOTBALL
THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM MANAGER APPOINTED SYDNEY, May 16. Dr W. F. Matthews, a former international, has been appointed manager of the Australian Rugby Union team to tour Great Britain this year. Mr J. Noseda, secretary of the Rugby Union, has been appointed secretary to the manager. The team will be announced on June 19, and will sail from Sydney on July 21.
