SOCIAL EVENING The first meeting of the Gaelic Society for the year was held last evening. Chief A. McLennan presided, assisted by Chieftains W, H. McLeod and A, McKenzie. The chairman welcomed to the meeting two visitors. Miss MacKenzie, from Vancouver, and Mr John McLean, from Garton Downs, Clinton. Miss Budge supplied the dancing party, Mrs A. Matheson played the accompaniments, and Pipe-major S. Waldie played for the national dancers. A vote of thanks to the performers proposed by Chieftain W. H. McLeod brought the evening to a close
