Arch Druid Bro. A. S. Stewart presided over the first meeting for the year of Enterprise Lodge. The bard s report disclosed that there is still a fair amount of sickness prevalent amongst the members, and sick pay amounting to £l7 was passed for payment. The lodge adjourned early, those being present playing a game of cards. , _ , The fortnightly meeting of the Good Intent Lodge was presided over by A.D. Bro. N. Guy. DP. Bro. Smaill attended officially to install the newlyelected officers, and P.A. Bro. Le Brun, of the Pride of Mornington Lodge, and district president-elect, was also present. Christmas and New Year greet-, ings were received from the Otago, Enterprise, Linden, AH Nations’ and Lily of the Valley Lodges. P.A. Bro. M. J. Thompson reported on the arrangements made by the committee for the children’s night, and it was decided to secure a large number of toys for the children. The D.P., Bro. Smaill, assisted by P.A. Bro. Le Brun of Pride of Mornington, installed the following officers:—A.D., Bro. R. S. Thompson; V.A. Bro. M. J. Thompson: treas., Bro. D. Thomson. M.C., Bro. C. Scott; LG.. Bro. J. Davidson; 0.G., Bro. R. Ellis; A.D. bards, Bros. George Larsen and J Petrie; V.A. bards, Bros. James Thompson and Alexander Thompson; J.P.A., B r o. N. H. Guy; mm. sec., Bro. A Jeffs. The newly-installed officers returned thanks for their election. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the installing officer for the efficient manner in which he had carried out the ceremony. A vote of thanks was also accorded P.A. Bro. C. Scott for his services as J.P.A. His name will be placed on the respect board, u.ir. Bro. Smaill. on behalf of the lodge, presented P.A. Bro. George Larsen with a framed diploma. Bro. Larsen suitably replied. D.P. Bro. Smaill replied to the toast proposed by V.A. Bro. M. J. Thompson, and P.A. Bro. Le Brun replied to th* toast proposed by A.D. Bro. R. S. Thompson.
