PERRY’S CIRCUS
THE DUNEDIN SEASON Coming by special train, the Perry Bros.’ circus and zoo will commence a six-night season in Dunedin next Thursday. The Perry Bros, claim to have the greatest show ever to leave the shores of Australia and to have everything that a modern circus should, nroduced and presented under a huge marquee of two acres and a-half of canvas. The Perry Bros, have imported direct from Europe a new team of clowns and dummies who are introducing, it is said, a new era in fun and merriment. Ip addition there are 50 international star acts. 18 cages of wild jungle animals, 25 horses and ponies, and a herd of elephants. Among the animals is the black leopard cub. which has baffled the scientists of the world, being, it is claimed, the only known leopard to change his spots The zoo will be open from 4 to 5 p.m daily for the feeding of the animals and there will be matinees on the Wednesday and Saturday afternoons at 2.30. The location will be at the Caledonian Grounds Further particulars are advertised.
