TOBACCO AND GRAIN
THE BULGARIAN HARVESTS GERMANY ANXIOUS TO BUY SOFIA, Jan. 11. A German trade delegation of 12 industrialists and merchants _ is at present in Bulgaria. The object is understood to be far-reaching commercial penetration by raising Germany’s share of exports and imports from 55 per cent, to 80 per cent. The delegation will endeavour to buy up all next year's tobacco and grain harvest and establish a German and Bulgarian mining company to exploit iron and lead resources.
