NEW AERODROME

OFFICIAL OPENING TO-MORROW MINISTER TO VISIT TAURANGA • Per United Press Association! WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. The Minister of Defence (Mr F. Jones) will leave Wellington by air to-morrow for Gisborne, via Napier, and on Saturday he will fly to Tauranga to open officially the Whareroa aerodrome. He will return to Wellington by air on Sunday. The Minister will be accompanied by the managing-director of Union Airways of New Zealand, Ltd. (Mr N. S. Falla, the manager of Union Airways (Mr F. Maurice Clarke) and the Air Secretary (Mr T. Barrow).
