POSTAL OFFICER'S LAPSE COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE <Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 11. The non-delivery of a number of letters to a large time-payment furnishing firm between July 16 and December 5 led to the arrest of Alfred Iremonger, aged 49. a letter carrier, who was charged to-day with stealing postal packets (three charges) and with opening packets (two charges). He was committed for sentence, bail being allowed.
