"UNIVERSAL MAGIC"
NICOLA'S COMING REVUE NicoU. described as the world's greatest magician, has been coming to this country for the r>ast 25 years, although it has been alrrost 10 years since he naid his last visit. Nicola, it is said, has searched the remote corners of the earth in an endeavour to discover some of the fabled miracles the sorcerers and fakirs are reputed to oerform. After man} years of research, Nicola has evolved of the most wierd effects j"er conceived in the annals of co-ijuring, some of them, it is stated, border'i? on the edge of the supernatural. These ancient feats, he has modernised, and w'" present in his revue of universal magic, in which he will imoersonate the old magicians r' the dark ages, each appropriately -"•ti)m«d and staged, the scenery and costumes having been procured from the native artisians of India, China, Egypt and other countries that Nicola has visited. With the exception of Miss Marion Eddings, Nicola's principal assistant, the entire personnel has been replaced. Nicola will appear at His Majesty's Theatre for a limited season, commencing next Wednesday. Further particulars are advertised.
