DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE BODY FOUND ON RIVER BANK (Per United Press Association) ROTORUA. Jan. 11. The discovery of the body of Joseph Bolton, a single man, aged about 52, lying on the bank of the Kaituna River at Okere. was made by a schoolboy, Ronald Aspinull. An inquest was subsequently opened, when Dr R. Dorset, of Rotorua, gave evidence that death was due to cardiac failure. The deceased resided with his mother, Mrs Bridget Bolton, of Okere, a widow, who stated that the deceased left home on Tuesday morning, apparently to secure some firewood in the bush. He did not return that night, and in the morning she requested the police to make a search, with the result that his body was found lying on the bank of the Kaituna River. THE CLARENDON EXPLOSION INQUEST ON VICTIM » An inauiry into the death of Alexander Semple Penman, who was killed as the result of an explosion in a shed at the railway deviation works at Clarendon on Tuesday afternoon, was opened at the Milton Courthouse yesterday afternoon before Mr A. E. Russell, district coroner. Constable A. Kerse appeared on behalf of the police. It was stated that Andrew Watt, who was in the shed at the time of the accident, was in hospital, and would not be able to give evidence for a few days. ~., William Lyall. railway shunter. Milton, gave evidence of identification. Penman was a single man', 39 years of age. He was strong and healthy. The inquest was adjourned sine die. RUN OVER BY LORRY YOUTH FATALLY INJURED (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 11. Maurice Robert Doggett, aged 17 years, was fatally injured when, he was run over \by a lorry at Springfield about 5 p.m. to-day.
