RUTHENIAN PREMIER

OPTIMISTIC DECLARATION “A GREAT UKRAINIAN STATE ” PRAGUE, Jan. 8. The Ruthenign Premier. Father Volosin, when interviewed, said: “To prophesy is difficult, but I believe I will soon be able to tell mv fellow-countrymen that a great Ukraine will be created. In the future Ukrainians throughout the world will be able to return to their liberated fatherland.”

He added that he hoped Ukrainians throughout the world would abandon internal conflicts and concentrate on the formation of a great Ukrainian State.

This is the first time Father Volosih ha? formally associated himself with the campaign against the Polish, and Russian Ukraines.
